Finland Oman School

Finland Oman School was established and opened in 2018 by Oman Educational Services. The school is owned and operated by Majd Group with EduCluster Finland collaborating as a quality partner supporting various aspects of the school. The school is based in Muscat.

The school offers education for students from grades KG1-12, and it attracts Omani and expatriate students.

Currently the school follows an Omani bilingual curriculum, which integrates teaching and learning methodologies from Finland.

In the spring of 2024, Finland Oman School decided to apply to become an IB school, and the process has already started. The school’s principal, Mr Faisal Al Awfi, with an IB background will steer the school through the transformation. Part of the school’s pedagogical staff is from Finland.

The school is part of a wider hub of educational know-how since it shares a campus with The German University of Technology in Oman (RWTH Aachen), which is owned and operated by Oman Educational Services.
