In addition to Olli-Pekka’s far-reaching subject matter expertise and profound academic success in the field of Special and Inclusive Education, his ability to speak fluent Mandarin Chinese has proven invaluable in the creation of ECF’s partnerships in China.
Sini has first-hand experience in applying Finnish pedagogical practices outside Finland, having worked as a Special and Inclusive Education teacher in one of ECF’s biggest projects. She now plays a pivotal role in innovating, implementing, and evaluating ECF’s Finnish International School concept.
With 10+ years of exercising his ever-analytical mind through teaching and developing higher education programmes in physics and mathematics, Ilkka now applies twofold expertise in ECF’s school operations: curriculum design and quality performance.
Erkki has extensive experience of Finnish education specializing in IT infrastructure and digital solutions. More recently he has been instrumental in using advanced technologies for curriculum development, quality assurance, communications, and online learning for schools across the world.
Sanna NummelaSanna specialises in designing innovative TVET practices, and coordinating competence-building programmes globally. Having recent experience in Finland, East Asia and the Middle East, she designs and carries out professional development processes for educators in basic, vocational, and higher education.
Instrumental in developing Special and Inclusive Education processes in one of ECF’s biggest projects, Heli reinvents ECF’s Finnish International School concept to meet global partners’ needs, and upskills teachers’ competences in ECF’s professional development programmes.
With vast knowledge of both the public and private education sector acquired through multiple education posts over the last 20 years, Minna now shares her pedagogical expertise in ECF’s professional development programmes. One of her special interests is learning environment design.
Miia has extensive experience of planning and managing mobilization and re-location processes of Finnish educators who work abroad in Finnish International Schools. Working closely with ECF’s global partnership projects, and qualified in vocational teacher education, she specializes in the recruitment and intercultural adjustment of Finnish teachers as they live and work throughout the world.
David Marsh PhD, FRSA has experience of tasks in over 40 countries, contributed to over 150 publications, and received 5 degrees from the United Kingdom, Finland and Spain. A founding figure of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), he works on high-impact learning of Generations Z and Alpha.
Kati has been actively engaged in developing Finnish educational excellence and expertise internationally for over 10 years. Alongside hands-on experience of operationalizing schools in MENA she has special expertise in adapting Finnish curricular, pedagogic, leadership and management best practices into international contexts.
Mark Barratt is a specialist in sales and marketing, with 21 years of experience in the education sector. Mark’s background and expertise is derived from working in academic publishing, digital language learning and Finnish educational products and expert services. His background spans content creation and development, digital content, development of digital services and applications for language learning and acquisition.
Tanja manages finance and accounting operations for national and international education projects. She coordinates client-based finance services and develops finance reporting. She oversees all key assignments in finance management.
