
Um Nasser Finland Preschool Inaugurated:
A Pioneering Model for the Future of Education
Riffa, Bahrain – 11 May 2025
In a move reflecting the growing trend towards investing in quality education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Um Nasser Finland Preschool was inaugurated today in West Riffa.- as one of the latest projects undertaken by S Eleven Educational, a leading investment company with a key focus in developing the education sector, through investments in innovative educational projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the education system and supporting innovation in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This inauguration represents a qualitative addition to the Early Childhood Education system, through the adoption of one of the most developed educational models in the world introduced to the Kingdom through its Finnish operator, EduCluster Finland, part of the University of Jyväskylä Group.
The launch of this unique educational institution was held under the esteemed patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Um Nasser, wife of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The project embodies Her Highness’ ambitious vision towards building a knowledge-based society, starting with the development of children in their formative years.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Her Excellency Ms. Noor bint Ali Al-Khulaif, the Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of Bahrain Economic Development Board of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Ms. Nawal Ibrahim Ahmed Al Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, and a number of representatives from relevant entities within the government and private sectors.
Um Nasser Finland Preschool is the result of a strategic partnership between Finnish educational expertise, known for its focus on the child and their skill development, and the Bahraini cultural environment, which attaches great importance to family and society in building a child’s personality. The educational process is supervised by the Finnish operator, EduCluster Finland, specialising in implementing Finnish education projects in various international contexts, supported by trained national staff, ensuring an ideal integration in providing a high-quality educational experience.
