Teaching practice at Finland International School Race Course

Finland International School (FIS) Race Course in Mumbai, India is owned and operated by Goenka Inc., an enterprise committed to offering holistic and transformative education through innovation and experiential learning environments. FIS Race Course follows the Finnish education concept, which is internationally acknowledged for producing high-ranking student performance while nurturing the well-being of the whole learning community. In FIS Race Course Finnish ECEC years and Finnish Primary grades will be followed by Middle Years Programme and IB Diploma Programme to provide a top-quality study path to higher studies in India and internationally.

The Founding Principal, Mr. Nikke Keskinen, Principal Ms. Anna Hart, as well as the Academic Vice Principal and half of the teaching staff are from Finland. They work closely together with the local educators by co-teaching, mentoring, and learning from each other. The school started its ECEC services in January 2024 and opened its doors to school students of Grades 1-7 in August 2024.
