FIS Race Course is seeking passionate educators to join its innovative team. Teachers will work with diverse age groups and collaborate closely with local educators, blending Finnish and Indian teaching practices to create a truly engaging learning environment.
The following positions are available
Pre-Primary Teacher (Age group 1–5 years)
Applicants must hold a recognised qualification for working in a Finnish pre-primary school and have sufficient English proficiency for an international school setting. We seek an enthusiastic pre-primary educator to contribute Finnish educational expertise to our growing team. Experience in one or more of the following areas is an advantage: craft, home economics, music, physical education, drama, and/or special education.
Vice Principal – Pre-primary (Age group 1–5 years)
Applicants must hold a recognised Early Childhood Education and Care qualification from a Finnish University; a Master’s degree is preferred. Applicants must have sufficient English proficiency for an international school setting. We are seeking an experienced pre-primary educator with strong knowledge of Finnish education to support the continued development of our expanding pre-primary section. Experience across all early childhood age groups is preferred, along with international experience and a background in educational leadership. This role includes a 50% teaching commitment.
Primary Teacher – Primary School (Grades 1–5)
Applicants must hold a recognised teaching qualification from a Finnish University (Masters in Education) and be specialised and/or experienced in one or more of the following subject areas: English, textile craft, woodcraft, home economics, music, physical education, drama, or special education. Applicants must have sufficient English proficiency for an international school setting.
Vice Principal – Primary School (Grades 1–5)
Applicants must hold a recognised teaching qualification from a Finnish University (Masters in Education) and be specialised and/or experienced in one or more of the following subject areas: English, textile craft, woodcraft, home economics, music, physical education, drama, or special education. Applicants must have demonstrated leadership experience and have sufficient English proficiency for an international school setting. This role includes a 50% teaching commitment.
Subject Teacher – Middle Years & High School
IB MYP Grades 6–10, IBDP/IBCP Grades 11–12
Applicants must hold a recognised teaching qualification from a Finnish University and have sufficient English proficiency for an international school setting. We are seeking a secondary subject specialist to join our team and contribute Finnish educational expertise to our growing secondary section. Candidates should hold qualifications in one of the following subject areas: mathematics, science, home economics, Spanish, or English.
