About the school

Finland International School in Pune (FISiP) is a new EduCluster partner school in India. It is being co-created all the way from the school building together with different stake holders. The school is following the best practices from Finnish Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) along with the Finnish National Core Curriculum, which is merged with local requirements.

The staffing is half Finnish and half international/local. This means that the elements of continuous professional development, co-teaching and mentoring are present all the time. During the first academic year FISiP is catering children from ECEC to grade 2 with the amount of appr. 200 children. The total capacity of the school will be around 1 200 students facilitating full K-12 scale.
