Qatar-Finland International School

Qatar-Finland International School was established in 2014 at the invitation of the Qatari Ministry of Education. The school is based in Doha and is operated by EduCluster Finland.

Presently, the school offers education for grades KG-12, ages 4-17, and had the first graduates from Qatar-Finland International High School in spring 2022. There are 700 students in the school coming from over 60 nationalities. Qatari students make up approximately 35% of the student population. The Head of School, Mr. Yousri Youssef, Principals, and more or less half of the teaching staff are from Finland.

The school’s curriculum is based on the Finnish National Core Curriculum with local adaptation and additional content to align with Qatari standards. The school serves as a hub of educational know-how, delivering teacher training and professional development programmes in the region.
